A touch of Red

Hello everyone – it’s a lovely day today here in Leeds.  I have been for a walk and now it is time to do my blog post as I have a busy week ahead!

This project is for the Challenge over at IndigoBlu – A touch of Red.

Using post box red I made a background by laying the paint on my glass mat adding water and then laying my white card on top. I glued this on to some grey board and then mixed course texture paste with some post box red and randomly applied this through IndigoBlu texture stencil. I also used IndigoBlu harlequin stamp on the sides.

Using Jane I stamped with black stazon onto a tissue and used slapiton to place it on my background. I shaded her eyelids and lips and gave her some earrings. I made a window frame using a sizzix die and heat emblossed in gold and also red.

I die cut some flourishes and leaves, also a bird to finish my project.

Thank you for visiting my blog, please feel free to leave a comment.
