Heart eyelets and ribbon from my stash.
Using a technique from Kay (IndigoBlu) choose 3 colours of cottage paints and mix a little of the paint with water in 3 mini misters (I used banana custard, park lane and postbox red – I put a little white Gee-Sso Good in with the red) Spray a sheet of white A4 in random bursts to get some runs – also use a straw to blow through to create lines. When dry cut tag shape. Stamp small heart in barn door on a piece of the sprayed card – dry and cut out then spread texture paste over, place stamp on paste lightly and pull off leaving texture lines. On a spare piece of the sprayed card, turn over and spray again so it is double-sided. When dry cut to tag shape but about an inch shorter. Cut through to a depth of 3 inches down middle so you can curl the middle edges to form a collar. Place 2 eyelets either side and thread through some pink ribbon. Stick this shape onto front of tag and apply texture paste all around the outside of the tag. When dry dab your chosen colours of cottage paint around the outside over the texture paste. When dry glue beaded lace, flowers and leaves on to bottom section of tag. Die cut 3 butterflies and attach. Attach heart on some foam tape in the inset. Die cut letters and attach to the top, adding a flower in the middle if the letters using the stem to make a loop. Finally dust over the tag with pan pastel light gold metallic to give it a lovely golden glow, not forgetting the heart.
I really enjoyed creating this tag so hope you like it.
