Pretty as a picture

P1030700

Today I would like to share with you my entry for the following two Challenges.

Indigoblu Challenge 11                                    My favourite stamp of the year

Wild Orchid Crafts Challenge 94                   Button it!

I used two diecuts, a smaller one for the image and the larger one for the frame. Stamp image and colour with pro markers. Double glaze with versamark and clear embossing powder. Heat emboss the frame with gold and white embossing power, then randomly frantage.  Adhere both diecuts to the card front and frantage the corners of the frame and overlap onto the card front. Stamp the butterfly, colour with pro markers and cut out.  Glaze with versamark and clear embossing powder. Make antennae out of flower stems and  glue two tiny buttons with thread in holes to the middle of the butterfly.  Place on frame.  Adhere typed sentiment.  Place a strip of red backed double sided tape onto craft mat and pleat some ribbon to size required.  Adhere to bottom of the frame.  Attach a flower to the middle of the ribbon.

Stamps used:  Indigoblu ‘Elizabeth Bennet’ Indigoblu butterfly stamp (free with Craftstamper).

Flower from Wild Orchid and buttons and ribbon from my stash.

Thanks for looking.
